| Registering and Activating Your Account |
| • When you register on the boards, a confirmation email is sent to the email address you provided during registration. This email contains a link to activate your account. It is necessary to activate your account before logging into the boards. |
| • If you do not receive the confirmation email, look into your spam/junk email folder to see if it was put there. |
| Adding an Image to your Profile |
| • You will need to use image editing software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe ImageReady, Macromedia Fireworks) to create an image with a maximum dimension of 80 x 80 pixels and a file size of no more than 6KB. |
| • If you do not own image editing software, we suggest using the free (for personal use) program IrfanView. It can be downloaded at www.irfanview.com and the program has its own help menu. |
• When you are ready
to upload your image, log in and then select Profile to edit your profile.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and find the "Avatar control panel".
Click
on the "Browse" button next to "Upload photo from your machine" and
select your image. Click on Submit to upload the image. |
