If memory serves me correctly, you said you had never been in the States so where did you form this opinion. In all the years I've lived in the States (36), I've only experienced that once and it was a huge shock. Trust me, it's not the norm.
I think there are more simularities than differences between the two cultures. Probably the best gauge would be to compare and contrast small town USA with small town CZ.
Interesting points of view about american family values. Kids are as different as adults are from each other all with their own personalities different points of view and so on. They can't all grow up to be irreproachable angeloids. Anyway what's up with kids messing around a bit loving your children is suposed to be about accepting them faults an' all. :twisted:
