    Dear Lord,
This is the only website that I know that will let me post things about you. One of the good things is, it is WORLD WIDE. And we have good friends here.

Dear Lord in heaven, you know what is going on, the controller of all things. Děkuji for the business that you are allowing me to manage for you, so I can quit my other job as business grows big enough to susport us.

You know about the John Deere backhoe that I have been visting with the salesman about. I ask in your name Jesus Christ, that you bless the business, and send lot's of work towards our way. You know that we do not have much time to make a decision about this particular backhoe, that prices are going up next week. I also ask that you continue to lead us in the correct direction. I know everything is based on your timing. Jsem just excited about this competavie market. With you vím we can do anything if it is in your will Father. I just pray that this is in your will. I see a Big Empire on the horision, that is coming our way. The smaller backhoe is too light, even though we still need it, for tight area work. The equipment that you have gave us so far has helped out the church grounds alot. Especialy for the COWBOY CHURCH. I place můj faith in your hands Jesus.
Jsem just in a hurry to get things rolling. The business that you have sent so far, has been a blessing for us. In Jesus name amen.

Děkuji Jesus! May God Bless all of můj friends here and everwhere else, that I know and do not know. :D

Just want it to take off like wildfire but, I know it will not happen overnight. The hard part is getting it established.

How long did it take for your business to take off?

To all of my friends here. After alot of prayer,
I went to Houston Texas in November and purchased a John Deere 110 Tractor Loader Backhoe. It is a blessing to God's business.
It has a 6 foot wide 4 in 1 tooth bucket on the front. 24 inch bucket with hydraulic thumb on rear. I welded some tungsten carbide bullet teeth on the rear bucket. It will bust up hard rock pretty easy.

Thank you Jesus! For the backhoe.

Am I the only one who finds this thread disturbing?
    Matthew 6:6
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thine inner chamber, and having shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret, and thy Father who seeth in secret shall recompense thee.

Do you really think God is interested in your building up an empire? or that Jesus sends business your way?

    1 Timothy 6:7-11
for we brought nothing into the world, for neither can we carry anything out; 6:8 but having food and covering we shall be therewith content. 6:9 But they that are minded to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and hurtful lusts, such as drown men in destruction and perdition. 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil: which some reaching after have been led astray from the faith, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

    My 2 penn'orth.

    My 2 cents worth
I think Jody was just praying for success in his endeavors. Hoping that he is making the right business decisions in his life.
We all hope we are ultimately doing the right thing.
As for announcing it on the forum, I figure that is just Jody's enthusiasm and excitement for his project.
I can't quote from the bible, I am not that well versed in it, so I'll leave that to others.
I wish the best for everybody, so if things are going well for him, good.
As for the being disturbed question...no

    Ahoj czechchris,
It is like this, I have been praying and praying for more equipment. It felt right in my heart this time, so I took a step a faith, so far God is providing the work for me to pay for it. The stepping stones are falling into place.

My time is his time, he owns me. The equipment is also used at the church, also thighing is giving to the church from the money that is earned from jobs. The more he allows me to make, he gets more to build up his Kingdom here on earth. He watches me all the way and gives me guidence.

You are also right about money, it is the roots of all evil. But, God needs his money also to reach out to others. After all, the money is all his anyway.
Everything on this planet belongs to him.

I understand where you are coming from, Animal, but I feel very uncomfortable with the thought of publicising private prayers on the internet.

It is commendable that you use the equipment to serve your church, but I get the impression (rightly or wrongly) that this is used as a justification for wanting to 'build an empire'. My personal belief is that God does not have a Kingdom here on earth which he needs our help in building up. The god of this world is the devil. Everything in this world is in the devil's power. 1 John 5:19.

I am sorry if I seem to come across strongly on this point, it is not my intention to berate you in any way, but I feel a Christian duty to alert you to a possible misstep, in the spirit of Galatians 6:1.

    regards
    Chris

If you are referring to my comments about the devil being the god of this world, then yes, it may be scary. But it is better to be aware of a danger than not.
The Bible consistently shows the Devil to be the 'god of this world' and for the 'whole world to be lying in his power'. Remember, too, that he offered Jesus all the Kingdoms of the world and their glory in return for an act of worship to him; a temptation which would have been meaningless to Jesus, had the devil not had the ability to fulfil it.
    Jesus prayed for his disciples:
It explains why the world is full of hate and violence, though. The influence of the devil is causing the world to become a very dangerous place.

Having grown up in Texas, I understand that some Christian denominations popular in that area believe that expressing one's faith publicly in prayer in a way strengthens the faith of the prayer. While I'm not one who advocates this, I can in some measure understand it. It's not about Matt. 6:5, praying as the hypocrites to be heard of men, but rather being of the opinion that in the vocalizing/publicizing of the prayer, one strengthens one's own faith (i.e. that it takes more faith to openly vocalize the prayer). At least, that's my understanding of Jody's motivation. I may not agree with it, but I can't really condemn it either.

Check the verse again, the LOVE of money is the root of all evil, not money itself.

Galatians 6:1 says “Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.”

First, your restoration wasn’t very gentle. You accused him of wanting to "build an empire" as if you know his heart. Secondly, you wanted him to pray in private, why couldn’t you “restore” him in private. After all, we have pm’s on this site.

Btw, God is the sovereign ruler and controller of this world and of the entire universe.

Matthew 28:18. Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

In Ephesians 1:20-22 which He brought about in Christ, when Heraised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church,

Daniel 4:17 " 'The decision is announced by messengers, the holy ones declare the verdict, so that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of men.'

Daniel 4:25 You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like cattle and be drenched with the dew of heaven. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes.

Daniel 4:26 The command to leave the stump of the tree with its roots means that your kingdom will be restored to you when you acknowledge that Heaven rules.

2 Chronicles 20:6 and said: "O LORD, God of our fathers, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you.

On another note, yes we can pray for success & prosperity without having a heart to build an empire as you put it. God looks at our heart and if we have a love of money. Perhaps Jody sees dying and diseases of the poor in this world and wants to help. Perhaps he sees the many lost souls and wants to be successful not only to meet the needs of his family, but to have enough overflow to sew into the kingdom of God. He’s already demonstrated this by using God’s gift to help his church. Have you never read the prayer of Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:9-10?
And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, "Oh that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!" So God granted him what he requested. (NKJV)

Jabez prayed for blessing and prosperity (enlarge my territory) If its wrong to desire prosperity and success why would God tell Joshua “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

    Enjoying your popcorn Eso?
