The Position - Web Services Developer U-Turn is seeking a unique individual who can join the company to participate on delivery of U-Turn services to B2B customers. The position has been created to increase company ability to design, develop and deploy services running in Unix/Linux environments. The main aim it to integrate internal and third art services with existing and new U-Turn products. Typical deployment would be lightweight Linux based applications utiliz-ing Unix architecture in a traditional way with a big accent on XML data processing. Your Activities • Understand business requirements and objectives of U-Turn clients • Participate on definition of the service architecture and analysis • Develop and setup Linux/Unix based services • Provide customer support with tools and information on using and deploying the service to the production level • Participate on creative contribution to gradual enhancement of U-Turn product and services About You • You will have a successful track record in a service providing company • You will understand architecture and concepts used with Linux/Unix based development • You will understand the architecture of mobile centric cervices • You master some of: shell scripts, Python, Perl, Java, C/C++ • You have an experience with XML processing, XML databases and REST-full application design • Posses skills to understand the end user requirements and their impact to the service design and operation • Team player with a drive that stimulates people around you • Prepared to travel • English skills (spoken and written) • Live in or be wiling to commute to Prague, Czech Republic • You will have at least 5 years IT background, 2 of which will be in a customer relationship oriented position The Offer Attractive fixed monthly salary plus generous bonus scheme.
