    Hi,
I have a job offer in a small city in Moravia. The company is going through the process of a work permit at the moment, but I still have a few questions. Is it best to go through the process of getting a long-term visa here in Canada, or should I go to the CR on a short-term (90 days) and from there go to Vienna to file my papers? The problem is that it can take up to 4 months to get my long term visa here in Canada. Actually, I might go to Chicago to get my long-term visa. Is it true that I have to get all my documents translated into Czech?

    Thanks :p

Another further question with regards to the Schengen. This comes into effect on December 31st, 2007... correct?

For a long-term visa... Americans require a home criminal record check, but Canadians don't.... correct?

I feel like I'm talking to myself...
