    Hi Guys,

Am planing to get married in Prague in Spring 06 and am coming over in a week to start checking out venues. Have a whole list already of the usual suspects found via the internet. But wondering if anybody had either any suggestions, good links or advice on somewhere like Cedok where I could go for some advice on other venues/churches etc?

    Any help greatly appreciated,

    Hogan.

let me ask you one thing - are you getting married to a czech citizen? i can advice from personal experience of one married to a forreigner that a czech citizen should take care about paperwork... several papers were needed, the act itself is quite simple though and any local authority (obecni / mestsky / mistni urad) can register a marriage.

as for churches, there is little i can say but i believe any church of your and your partner's denomination can run the procedure, too,

    Thanks for the reply. :)

I am an Irish Passport holder and my fiancee is from the UK. We've been to the Czech Republic many times and have always dreamt of a Prague wedding. A church would be great, we are both catholics so I guess this makes it a little easier...

We're planning in about a year. Just got back from doing a bit of looing for reception venues and really like the gardens- Vrbowska and Lederburg... A lot of the venues were quite small though. Were expecting around a hundred people to join us!

    Any ideas?

    Many thanks...
