Time needed to book a hotel

Approximately when should i book my hotel? one month before my trip? or earlier. will be going 19th dec.

 

was about to ask the same question too....

 

June/July/Aug and beginning of Sept. are very popular with tourists so you have to get your reservation in as soon as you think of buying flight ticket. Mid of Dec. till shortly after Jan.1 is very popular with German tourists as they either come Christmas shopping or celebrating.

 

oh i see.. hmm i guess i'll just book early just in case.. heh. thanks a lot
