Hey folks, i am currently trying to decide if i should come over to study in prague for next year. I'm from Scotland and studying at Strathclyde Uni in Glasgow and our university is offering exchange placements with CTU in prague. Was wondering if anyone could give me some good reasons to come over and study and live. Any feedback would be greatfully appreciated. Sell it to me :)

    Thanks.

All I can say is have a good read around this site - see the beauty of Prague, and the history of Prague, the character of Prague and it's people - it's a no brainer really !!!

    Go for it 100%

Mark, i'm from Glasgow too. Been to Prague a few times now and it just gets better each time. I wish I had the opportunity to be there for a year! Amazing place. One thing though, wrap up warm in winter, it is FREEZING cold. No Glasgow winter can prepare you for it. But don't let that put you off, Prague is stunning covered in snow...

The biggest reason for me would be meeting new people, making frineds outside UK a getting know more about cultures in Europe.

    Hi,
I won't bother to convince you about the beauty of Prague, The Czech Republic or it's people - this site and many others will do that for me. What i will say is that this would be an excellent opportunity for you. One i think you will come to regret in later years if you fail to grasp it now. Go for it while you can. :D

Hopefully if the exchange process all goes right i'll be in there next August. Keep an eye out for a red headed scots man walking about the city.. and give me a hand if i look lost
