Ahoj, I was wondering if anyone knows of one of these great photobooths in prague? You know the ones where you get a stip of pictures (usually of 5 people crammed into a booth with looks of pain on their faces) but the thing is they are all different pictures? I think i saw one a metro station but it could've been one of the evil "all the same photo" photobooths! They seem to be dying out here in scotland, infact i cant find one single one, they're all proper same photo ones for passports and such like. Anyway i am going to be in prague again next month and i really want to do the whole lets all cram into a booth and take stupid photos with my friends. They make excellent keepsakes. If I understand correctly what you mean, one at the metro stop Náměstí Republiky. It's on the yellow B line.

I went to a Náměstí Republiky metro stop today and unfortunately it's just the stupid machine which take photos for passport. It's just one same picture. I'm sure I've seen it somewhere. I let you know if I come across it.
Hi, I'm sure there was one at the local Carrefour shopping centre at Slavia. Fifteen minutes from the centre by tram i know, but maybe there is a Carrefour closer in that is more convenient.
thanks for all the replies! its such a shame they seem to be a dying out but who would do such a thing!? If it wasn't for those booths then poor Amelie would never have found true love. Sad so sad :cry: May the search continue in other places outwith prague, maybe this is a worldwide problem, it must be stopped! :wink:
There is also one in Tesco on Narodni trida, in Prague on main floor pass the elevators. Now.. I am not sure, if it does "strips" but it's a booth you can go in and make "faces" for sure.
Oh, I just realized that it is passport photo booth in Tesco. Perhaps someone will walk by and check.
I checked the one in Tesco, actually there's two of them and both are the passport photobooths. They're really dying out here. Let's see if we will find at least one in Prague. I'm not sure, but maybe one could be in shopping mall at černý most, but that's pretty far from the city centre. There used to be even one mady by Polaroid where you can even get stickers from the photos, but I'm not sure if there's any.
