    Willie,

What you have to understand is that among Czechs (particularly in Prague), British "partiers" have a very bad reputation. The Czechs don't appreciate it when foreigners come to their country only to party. There is a rich culture and history there to discover as well as cheap beer. Now, I won't jump to the conclusion that you're one of these types, but from the way you are talking, it will likely be seen among Czechs that you are one of those drunken, loud-mouthed, rude Brits. Hence, the reason why you haven't had any replies. Just a heads-up ...

BTW, I hope you do take advantage of the cultural side of the country as well.

    Hi Sova,
I know the "type" you describe...........we saw a few on our last trip to the Czech Republic, but we Scots are tame in comparison to our southern neighbours!!!!
We enjoy a few beers after sitting on a motorcycle all day.
We hope to visit many citys/towns in your wonderful country again this year. Last year we met a few great Czechs from Prague (Martin from the florists "Bloomies"). We had a fabulous time with the deputy mayor of Parduvice, our host for the week was a wonderful girl from Jihlava and we are really looking forward to meeting all these people and more when we arrive again.
As I say, we are not the rowdy type but we do enjoy good company over a few beers after a long day in the saddle.
We are hoping to visit Berlin, Krakow, Bratislava, Budapest, Vienna as well as most of the Czech Republic on our tour 8)

Wow! That's quite a trip. Hope you enjoy it! When you hit Bratislava, try the "UFO" restaurant on top of the bridge over the Danube. It's a bit pricey (for the region, at least), but the view is amazing!

Thanks Sova, I've made a note of the restaurant...............any more advice/tips on where to go/visit?
Last year we went to Punkva caves and Cesky Krumlov, we would like to visit Sedlec and see the church of bones on this coming trip.
    Oh and by the way..............................................
    we're still looking for company!!!!!

Just curious, what bikes are you riding?? Im a biker myself, and just starting in the tourism industry, so its right up my alley to help out in such cases!

    Cheers

Tyrone, one of my friends will be riding a GSX 1400, another a ZRX 1200 and my trusty steed is an XJR 1300. All of which are naked and beautiful!!!!!

Thats a very nice set of bikes!!! Real motorbikes, and rather retro, which is to my taste :) You can really see the roots of those bikes in some of the 70's and 80's naked 'super' bikes.

I ride a 1980's 350cc two-stroke Jawa 634, so no match to your bikes, but a fun bike nonetheless, even though she keeps me permanently impoverished and doing work on her. ( a mix of my previous hamfisted attempts on engine rebuilds without a manual, and old age, and a desire to update the running gear as much as possible)

Good luck with the tour, sounds like great fun!!!

    Hi Willie,
Got back from our bike trip yesterday (ten days in-all) pity our dates didn't tally, a couple of drinks would have gone down well! I hope your trip proved as good as ours, what a wonderful country Czech Republic is, but being an obvious foreign tourist, got ripped off for the secure parking (£80.00 for two nights, yes £80.00 or we couldn't have our bikes!) but hey, I suppose the bikes worth more than £80.00. Wish you well.

We got back home yesterday too :)
Poland was a nightmare........rain and awful roads
We had a fantastic time with our dear friends in Pardubice and we think we have managed to persuade them to visit Scotland next year.
