I will be arriving at the airport late on July 5 and I have read not to take taxis because the drivers will try to cheat foreigners when they are going to a downtown hotel. Does anyone have advice for me?

Do not get into a cab without an agreed price. Ask if your hotel has a pick up service for hire. Expect to pay around 800 crowns to the city center - a worthwhile investment. Don't pay more than about 500 in a taxi (plus tip). AAA is the most trustworthy cab service.
