Could someone translate this for me?

Anyone can love a rose, but only a great heart can love a thorn.

    Thanks!

Růži dokáže milovat každý, ale jen někdo s velkým srdcem dokáže milovat trn.

Called my grandmother and she said that a thorn is picha (with a little u-thing over the c). Is this right?

she likely meant it as a verb.

Trn picha (with accents over both /i/ and /a/) means A thorn pokes
If she meant it as a noun, it would likely be "pichac" with accent over /i/ and a hacek over the last /c/ - in which case it would mean "something that pokes"

Don't try to use the word "pičha" :) 8)

    Yes, "trn píchá".
As a noun it wouldn't be "píchač", but "píchák" or "pícháček", both of them are not much in use.
