    Hello

    My name is Richard. I am a 38 year old single man from Sheffield, England. I have just returned from a very enjoyable visit to Prague. So enjoyable in fact that I am willing to consider selling my assets in England in order to invest up to 3 million KC (105,000 Euros) in a new life in The Czech Republic. However, I need to make many friends there first.

    Please reply if you feel knowing me can help you as well as me in any way.

    Thank you.

    If you have three million, you will have many "friends". My question is, what kind of friends do you seek? The mention of your personal worth puts your potential friends into a dubious position. Any answers to your call for friendship could be considered mercenary.

    As long as you are lucky, you will have many friends;
    if cloudy times appear, you will be alone.

    Hi There: You must have had a remarkable time in Prague. What was it that has you wanting to give up everything you worked for to go there ? I ask you this because I did that. I took it all. I know what you mean by having the strong desire to go back and stay, but you do have to be careful. There are alot of devious people there who seem sincere, but are trained scam artists. They will take everything if you don't be careful. It's all about " I have very big problem " To us, we can easily fix it with money as money ,is the very big problem !!! Don't get me wrong, but I saw some scams and a few times I tried to help and saw that I was part of the tourist bait !!! I loved the people, the life, the relaxation, the pace, the food, the pivo, the scenery,... I even got engaged... I love Prague so much I go on this site everyday to feel close to it... but I live in Canada and my life is back. I went through what you are experiencing, and if I can say anything... WAKE UP !!!!! It's not about how much money you have to offer. It's a different life that is very humble. The pace will be slower and you will have to work as the cash flow will die fast. The wages are alot less and if you don't speak Czech. the options for work are small. Think about it carefully and if you do go... I' jealous !!! Have a great adventure and enjoy every minute. Lock up the money and be poor like most of everyone else there.

    interesting , Rich, I have lived in the Uk for , well, too long,and I have actually made the move your are thinking about,namely moving to Prague. I did not spend as much money as you are planning to though. It was a bit easier for me as I can speak Czech,but as j has mentioned , you have to be quite careful with some people. The problem is ,one is especially vulnerable when coming to Prague, not knowing anyone and trying to make ''Friends'' if you know what I mean, regardless what you are looking for in pleople.

    However, you can be deceived in any country , so please do not let me turn you away from the idea.

    Actually, I think you should go for it, and see for yourself.

    .....try renting first.
