I will be studying abroad in Prague next semester and am looking to get more information on all the amazingness the Czech Republic has to offer. If anyone has any travel suggestions, food, clubs/hotspot suggestions, etc. send them my way. Also, I'm curious to see what the weather is like in Prague when I'm there from January-May.

    Welcome Badger,

If you are studying I am sure you will find the best student locations by refer.
But I would stay out of the Tourist areas and get some real food, most people speak a little English, but when in doubt order

At Ujedz there are a few nice little establishments, clubs and very good restauraces. A friend of a friend owns a bar called Cerneho Lva across from the street where the US embassy is located near Karlmelatska or somewhere, the best resource at first is

Welcome, Erica -- You might want to start by exploring this website. Look at the tabs up above and read through such areas as the Prague Guide, Culture, Cuisine, etc.

I'd also suggest getting out of Prague several time during your stay to see other parts of the country. Prague is a big city and quite different from many of the beautiful smaller towns.

But, the most important thing is that you should not let a day go by that you don't see something new, do something new, meet someone new, etc. The time will fly by and you won't want to waste a minute of it!
