Does anybody know of any Czech wordlists available to download? I mean lists of Czech words with English equivalents like a dictionary. I want to make my own dictionaries and flash cards for things like my iPod.
There are of course online dictionaries (like http://slovnik.seznam.cz/?q=&lang=en_cz ). For common phrases look for examplke here: http://www.locallingo.com/
I guess what dozmary is looking for is some kind of list of words in both czech and english, table in Excel for example, which can be used easily on palm or even smart mobile phone, and can be used offline. This is what I found: http://www.velka-britanie.com/doc/slov-cj-aj.xls But this one considers employment and social affiars only, it is not general.
That's the idea, DjAvatar. I could type all the words in by hand using a dictionary but I am looking to see if somebody has already done all that work.
Maybe these two websites can help you http://www.flashcardexchange.com/tag/Czech http://www.byki.com Regards Phil
Go to www.byki.com. You can create your own lists in addition to the list that comes with the program. The rapid route version of it downloads onto an iPod.
