This may seem a little strange to most people, but it's the only thing I could think of, short of going back to Prague right now! (and is 100% genuine) As many people have said before, and will again...."I don't normally do this type of thing!" I've just returned from Prague, having had a brilliant time and meeting a fantastic girl. What I didn't do is get any contact details for her, however I do have a few vital stats. Her name is Alex, a 23 year old Economics student who works behind the bar of a casino bar called Hot Peppers in Wenceslas Square close to the Duplex club. You really can't miss this girl 'cos she's got short blonde hair with the most stunning eyes you and I have ever seen! If anyone is passing please could you call in and tell her that the English guy who couldn't take his eyes off hers on Saturday 29th May 04 wants to get in touch. Syd, You have to get over it. Forget about her and go on with your life. Same thing happened to me when I was in Prague the first time in 1999. I thought I was in love but didn't get any contact information of this girl. I've kept the memories which is probably far more important than anything else. What if you find her and she's not interested.
Dear Syd, I totally understand what you mean.I was born in Czech Republic and lived there up until I was 20.You mentioned that that girl's name was "Alex"...You need to understand that it probably wasn't even her real name.Alice,Alena..etc.,is more likely to be her name. I personally wouldn't trust a girl working in Prague's bar.Many of my girlfriends who still live in Prague are little bar flies and enjoy more than one boyfriend.But don't worry,by statistics,in CR is about 2-3 women per each man,plenty of women to meet....and who knows maybe one of them will be way more worth it . Whereas i met someone i really like, did get contact details, had known her for 8 years and then suddenly i lose touch with her and ive no idea how to find out where she is or if shes ok, how frustrating is that? Ive heard nightmare stories about women being kidnapped or their families being threatened and them being forced into things they dont want to do and im here worrying whats gone on :/
lol yeah well maybe what ive heard was overly exaggerated but none the less its what i heard :-S im sure ill hear from her again but to be honest it looks like for the moment she doesnt want to talk to me otherwise shed have made an effort to get in touch, just goes to show you that sometimes you dont really know the person you know :/
