help with translation - "A to je ta krasna zeme"

    Ahoj, I am very new to learning Czech and am wondering if someone could help me translate "A to je ta krasna zeme." It was written without any marks, so I am uncertain of the exact spelling. Thank you!

    Hi sherman,

    "A to je ta krásná země" means "And this is that beautiful country".
    It's a line in the lyrics of the Czech national anthem "Kde domov můj".

    Thanks for the help Lorenzo. The literal translation had me a bit confused! I'll have to check out the national anthemn as well.
