My imaginary friend was Vecernicek when I was living there, but he was sort of real. I still love him and see him every time I am in CR. Now I have some imaginary friends on internet and they will stay imaginary till I meet them.
cool 8) i always tried to reach the next stage of actually having an imaginary friend but somehow couldn't quite manage to find one.
My theory on this is that it is completely unacceptable to talk to yourself in American culture and in some families, and this is a normal thing for children to do while playing, especially if they are an only child. Therefore the children, probably only subconsciously aware of this social rule, invent an imaginary friend, so they won't seem crazy. (As paradoxical as that sounds! )
