    Hello All,

Today I stumbled onto this website while checking out Czech Films... The Czech are amazing cinematographers and some of the films are amazing. I was born in the Czech Republic in Opocno in 1979 and lived there until 1987, when my family decided to escape. We have been living in Canada ever since. I am fluent in Czech, but can't write and read slowly, but I am working on it. I have been back to Czech 7 times or so since moving to Canada and love the country very much. That's why I decided to come here, and help people experience the country I was born in. Anyways!!! Hello all :D

for the people wishing to see some pictures, here are 3 sets of my travels there...

Hey where in Canada are you? I spent 12 years in B.C after we emigrated. I haven't been back to the Republic since 1988, when we left. At first I didnt' want to go back...now I'm kind of hoping to save up for a trip to the homeland in the next 2-3 years but then I've been saying that for the last 10 years or so

What's that saying? You can't go home again? My brother tells me I have a funny English accent these days, I'd probably pay double for beer.

:D Hello; I saw your post, Might I suggest if you like a good dark beer. You must try "Krusovice" I am a lover of good beer. I just got back from Prague or Praha. I Had a wonderful time there drinking the beer and seeing all the sights. I plan to go back in the very near future. You come from a beautiful country.

I live in Calgary Alberta... I love goingback and go often, I am thinking of buying some property there as well... before it becomes to expencive. I hope you do get to visit... And yes I do have an eccent as well, in english and czech, I just can't win, but it is very very light, and most people can't pick up on it, unless I've had too much to drink.

I do enjoy Krusovice, and pretty much any of the Czech beer, but in Calgary, you can only get Pilsner or Litovel at the moment... I would LOVE some Gambrinus.
