How would you translate the following:
    Státní obean Eeské republiky
    a. Born state citizens of the Czehc republic
    or
    b. State Citzens of the czech republic

    Similiar question for:
    státním obeanem cizího státu

    a. Born state citizen of a foreign country
    or
    b. State Citzens of a foreign country.

    Thanks
    S

    just

citizen of the Czech Republic and

    citizen of a foreign country

i think in english the "state" is not necessary - the "born" is not there at all in the czech

you will also see these translated as "Czech national" and "foreign national" respectively

How would you say a Native born Chezh citizen?
(As opposed to a Czech citizen that was naturalized)

    Thank you

i'm not the best person to ask from the perspective of correct grammar in czech - i would say "rozený občan" for by birth and "naturalizovaný občan" for the naturalised

The adjective “státní” (=state) is used only in formal texts, because besides being a citizen of the state, you could be citizen of municipality or EU citizen.

native born citizen = rodilý občan

(rozený občan = congenital citizen ~ a man of civic virtue)
