If you marry her and settle here you will be entitled to permenant residency if you also meet certain critera, financial and otherwise.
How long will I have to live in the CZ before I will be a CZ citizen, and if we were to live in another country, then how long would it take before I was made a CZ citizen
If you don't live in Czech Republic and weren't born here then I really don't think you've got any chance of becoming a Czech citizen. If you marry a Czech citizen and live here then you have a chance to be given permenant residency, this is as close to citizenship as you'll get, but you can't vote. Why are you so hung up about becoming a Czech citizen?
cause I want to live in the UK with my CZ spouse - but to do this I would need CZ citizenship. Cause I am South African, from a commonwealth country But will that mean that I cannot ever be a CZ citizen?
I am English with Czech permenant residency, from my experience you'd have more chance of getting residency &/or citizenship in UK than in Czech. I understand that if you have skills it's not hard to get into the UK now. I think even if you're a resident in Czech for years, they don't hand out citizenship very easily.
Lets say a foreigner has some (but not all) Czech blood in them- if they marry a Czech citizen would they have an easier time acquiring citizenship?
