    Wow. I had no idea the bombing was so bad. I heard that a bomb accidentally dropped by the Americans destroyed the building where the Tancici dum now stands. Was that building destroyed during the same event?

    Yes. It is the destroyed building on the picture.

    What a horrible tragedy! It truly boggles the mind. Thank you for the posts.
    Very interesting, albeit disturbing information. The thought of Praha under a three-minute carpet of bombs makes me feel nauseous. I am interested in knowing if the U.S. Government did anything to help, or at least issued an apology.
