I want to recomend the new Czech film "STESTI (Hapiness)". For me it's the best Czech film since 1990. Quite a simple story but it touched me to the heart. ANOTATION : A stylistic sequel to director Bohdan Slama's award-winning debut film, "Wild Bees", "HAPINESS (STESTI)" is a tale of unrequited love trying to realize itself. Over the course of a year, in a small town scarred and beaten down by industrialization, Tonda and Monika, friends since childhood, come to experience what life might be like if they could be with one another - which they seemingly can't. Or can they? In the old fashion art cinema SVETOZOR, just in the middle of the Wenceslass Square, this film is given WITH THE ENGLISH SUBTITLES. 15.09.05 - 28.09.05, 13.10.05 - 19.10.05 http://www.kinosvetozor.cz/program/film ... 53&lang=en
