We adopted 3 young brothers from the Czech Rep. Although we know the name of their birth mother, we do not know if she is still alive, or what happened to siblings, or if they have birth relatives that may wish to have contact (whether by post, or to meet up one day when the time is right).

Where do I begin. Our boys are still only 5, 4 and 3 years old, but we can't help thinking that the longer we leave it before searching for their 'history' the harder it will be when they (may or may not) start to request info. It's also quite possible that their birth mother was 'forced' due to unfortunate circumstances to 'leave' or 'give up' her children. It is also very likely that she thinks about them often and would appreciate the odd note to let her know that all is well with them.

Does anyone know where we could start to find our sons birth mother? I assume that most official organisations help only those who are an adoptee and only once they have come of age. Our eldest has 13 years to go!

Look forward to your help. With thanks
