Baby or child seats are obligatory for all children up to 12 years of age and for all passengers measuring less than 150 cm.

There are different rules for different seats:

front seat: Baby or child seats (restraints) are obligatory for all children up to 12 years of age and for all passengers up to 18 years of age measuring less than 150 cm.

rear seats: Baby or child seats are obligatory for all passengers up to 18 years of age measuring less than 150 cm. This second rule is applicable only for highways and trunk roads, not for e.g. city streets or local roads.

So, if your baby is 150 cm tall, you need not a baby seat in the second case (i.e. rear seats).

I know your post is 2 years old and now your baby is 2 years three months. But, dude, your little child is too precious to worry about what the law is.

A child safety seat is for your child s SAFETY. USE IT!
