Can you tell me of any bike tours and would you recommend these over the hiking trips that they offer? I am an avid hiker here in the states and would really like to take a full day of the beautiful countryside on foot. What are your suggestions, please? I leave in one week.
You are not even saying which part of the CR you are planning to be in. As to tours, just search on the web under hiking/cycling or perhaps here you will find something. You cannot go wrong as country is very picturesque, expecially if you include some castles.
Have you looked on the travel site here? They have a full page about bicycle tours. Go under "Trip Planner" - bicycle tours is one of the options. I don't know anything else about them though. Good luck - enjoy your visit!
