I just tried učitel and ticked "Životné skloňování" - I presume that means animate - and it seemed to work but I may be wrong.
Thanks for the heads-up on the link I posted...I've only used it a couple of times for fairly common things, so I wasn't aware of its shortcomings...the site wer posted looks good as well, but I'll wait for the expert opinion
