I understand the following sentence, but I'm not sure as to the whys of the declination usage.
Ne, dnes ma'm hodinu Anglictiny. No, today I have English class/lesson.

Here's my question. Is hodinu (of the F hodina)in the accusative and Anglictiny in the genitive case(of the F anglictina) If so then why are they in different cases if not then what am i not understanding correctly. Anyone that can break this down to a very understandable level for a very new learner would be great.

    Thank you,
    Calvario

"Ne, dnes mám hodinu angličtiny. " Literally, it says I have a lesson/class of English.
Hodinu is the object of the sentence, so in accusative; angličtina stands here in the role of an adjective, defining the type of the lesson you have, so it is in genitive case.
