I've asked a Czech friend of mine to help with the translation, but they don't know how to translate this one... How would you say in Czech - (from guy to girl) "I can't get enough of you" ? Thanks for any help.
Nemůžu se tě nabažit. - i'm not sure if "nabažit" is even standard czech but it's widely understood, maybe it's more/less common depending on the dialect. this kind of sentence will probably sound a bit odd anyway, no matter how you say it - we don't normally say that to loved ones - not beacuse it's not true or because we don't like to show our emotions or something, it's just not a common phrase in czech.
Sounds like you are having the time of your life. I say give her a kiss and buy her as miany pivo's as she wants. Also treat her as a queen.
yeah this is a weird one.. I might phrase it a little bit different I might say: sto let s tebou neni dost (100 years w/ you is not enough) Of course before I send you on your way, lemme get some feedback from the Native Czechs here in the forum, I could be way out in left field. co myslite?
hehe, i like that one, somehow i think it has a bit of an ostravian feel to it, maybe because of the short words and lack of accent marks (in fact just one in this particular case), you can also try "mam tě rad jako cyp, bo jsi fajna po ksychtě".
they do, in fact they are both in flawless czech, they just don't make the kind of sense you'd want them to. Bez tebe bych umřel. - this actually _might_ work, but only if the lady is very self-important and very stupid. otherwise, you only say that when 1) you are 14 years old, in love and suicidal 2) someone has literally saved your life Od tebe nemohu dostat dost. - this one means "From you I can't get enough [so I'm off to seek someone who's better off]."
Pozor! Nepoužívej je ledaže chceš od sebe dělat vůl! To je legrační. Tvoje holka by před tebou utekla.
