    Beautiful day

But something more than krasny den. Is there a different word for beautiful that means like "absolutely, wonderfully, beautiful".

I asked a friend over the phone and he said

    Erekrasny den

I asked him to spell it and that's what he said, but I think we heard eachother wrong cuz that doesn't seem like a czech word. I find American Czechs don't hear well in English over the phone - there's always miscommunications. :)

    I bet he meant

"překrásný" since "p" and "e" sound a lot alike over the phone.

So does "překrásný" mean "wonderfully beautiful"

I am sure he said "překrásný" and it means very very beautiful; you can also say "nádherný, úžasný, báječný den".

    Thanks Jana,

Which word would you choose for...

Smoked Meat + Pivo = Překrásný Den

Does that even look right or work together?

I would go for uzený + pivo = bezvadnej den or to nemá chybu. Both expressions are colloquial and IMO more suitable here.

Thanks for your help Jana. After talking to a couple Czechs we decided to go with

Pivo + Uzený = Happy Day

The particular person it's for, instead of toasting "Nazdravy" always toasts "Happy Saturday" or "Happy Friday" whatever day it may be. So we figured that would go best :)

Again, thanks for your help :)
