been trying to use czech alphabet when im typing, cant figure it, do i need a different keyboard to do this, or do i just have to enable something?
It depends on your operation system. If you have Microsoft Windows, look here for instruction: http://acscc.org/Papers/CzDocs6H.html
You are welcome, Shaka. I found another one - they sell czech language stickers on English keyboard, too: http://www.datacal.com/czech-overlays.htm But $12.95 seems to me VERY overpriced! Local Czech shops sell them for 40Kc ( $2 )
yea it is a bit expensive for a few letters!!! i managed to set my control panel up ok eso, having trouble actually typin czech letters though, using 'shift', 'alt', and 'ctrl', still not working, any thoughts?
At first, you have to switch to czech keyboard (I pressume you installed and set czech keyboard in control panel) - on taskbar near clock little icon CZ appear: After then, keys 2 - 0 on your keyboard will become czech characters: ě š č ř ž ý á í é key [ become ú and key ; become ů For another characters, you have do like this you PRESS AND then RELEASE key = (for carka) or Shift and = (for hacek) and THEN press given character. Example - for ď - d with hacek: Pres and release SHIFT and = then press D
Yes that is high but, supply and demand dictates price. I bought one from them (hated the price) and have been happy with it, a bit tedious to apply, though (keep a pair of tweezers handy to place the individual key overlays). Glad I got it - sure beats refering to a printed keyboard layout.
Speaking of czech keyboard printout, you can find one to print at http://www.bohemica.com/czechonline/czechkeyboard/
Would you look at that. Počítač piše v čestině. Kdo by si myslel tak věc. Ale ted musím najit otazník a vykříčník. Děkuju za informace. Chvílinku si potrvám na tohle zvyknout.
