Hi there, I've started to make some Czech flashcards on the website www.quizlet.com Look up either 'Czech' or my username 'Flapcats' for the lists. Some others have created lists there too. Mine include months, clothing, direction + prepositions and assorted vocab lists. Quizlet has some unique features that I've found really useful: The SCATTER game is fun - where you are presented with a screen of Czech/English pairs all jumbled up and you have to drag one onto the other as quickly as you can. The other games involve you either reading or typing the answer. Because I don't have a Czech keyboard I've got around the diacritic marks problem on a non Czech keyboard by writing the Czech words without and then again in brackets if the word has them. i.e: kosile (košile) = shirt So in order for it to count a correct answer when it asks me to type the Czech for shirt I type 'kosile'. You can alternately customise the symbols pop-up to include Czech diacritic characters but it's much slower to click the letter than following my Czech-in-parenthesis option, especially if you can touch-type. So - If you make your own sets or find mine useful (or I've got errors!) let us know in this thread. Cheers!
