I know that czechs love to celebrate things but, when it comes to birthdays is there any thing special that happens? A new acquaintance of mine is turning 25 she moved the the US just over a year ago and does not have many friends because of her long working hours. We have plans to celebrate her belated birthday this week. If anyone could help it would be a big help.
Birthdays are celebrated the same way as in the US. A cake or a bottle of something strong and good wishes are all you need. Close friends and family expect gifts.
