Dobry den--jak se ty reknou? 1. "in fact": I love candy. In fact, I could eat a whole box of it. 2. "it would be": It would be great to talk to him again. (Bylo by?) 3. "I want you to (ňeco delat)": I want you to stop singing. (Chci, abyste?) 4. "to have/get something done": It's been a long time since I've had my hair cut. 5. "might/may": I might see a film this weekend. (but I haven't decided) 6. "the sign says/reads": The sign says you can't go this way. 7. četl jsem, že se muže použivat "k + -ání" jako "aby". Jak se pouzivá? (Použival jsem "muže se..." grammaticky spravně?) Dekuju vsichni!
re no 5: Možná se budu dívat na film, Asi se budu dívat na film. wouldn't the "asi" be closer to "most likely" wherease the "možna" would be a truer !might! re no 7: i think what is mean is that in a certain context "aby" is equal to "for the purpose of" maybe a bad example: "musí se používat zvláštní barva na trubky, aby nekorodovaly" could be said as "musí se používat zvláštní barva k zabránění koroze"
