I am trying to find information on my great grand father August Klouzek who was born in Strakonice on May 9??, 1863. His mothers name was Margaret (do not know maiden name) who was born in Bohemia (town unknown) on May 5, 1834. I do not know his fathers name, birth location or date. August migrated to the USA sometime in the 1870's or early 1880's. I am also looking for information on his wife Anna Vudy, born on July 26, 1865 in Klatovy. Her father was John Vudy (no information) and her mother was Marie Marx (no other information). Any help would be much appreciated.
Hallo Ken, I think we can help you. Do you have any official records from Bohemia? Check our pages about neccesities for beggining of searching. The most important documents are birth certificate of August or marriage certificate of August and Anna. If they exist and are from Bohemia (Austro-Hungarian Empire), they must contain correct names of important sites. Strakonice could be the town or county, as well as Klatovy. Write me back. Karel
