Dobry Den, Hello everyone! I am an American who learned some Czech in the States over 30 years ago but still remember clearly my first attempts at a "fricative r". I lived in Germany for a while prior to the fall of the Iron Curtain and never had the opportunity to travel East. Just this summer I made my very first, and unfortunately very brief, vist to the the Czech Republic, but I hope to travel back there with my family before too much time passes. The visit piqued my interest in all things Czech so I hope to participate in the forum from time to time and hopefully the experts around here can answer some of my questions.
