Hi everybody, I am from Czech Republic(Northern Bohemia) and I would love to improve my American English with you. We can talk about sport, psychology, philosophy, music, movies... I just have lots of interests and I love to get to know new people and their interests  So it will be my pleasure to reply all your questions...
Hi Karol, It is really great to have another Czech from CR here as most of us are just people who or their ancestors were born there or they simply just love the CR. You can really help by looking at new messages and try to answer questions people have from CR citizen perspective. I am sure that you can supply more detail information about traveling in CR than many of us who are just occasional visitors. Your input in discussion would be good dontribution. I hope you enjoy your time here just like lots of us are.
hey freekarol, I'm from the US and can probably help....but I need your help too....I need to learn the Czech language from you as I'm planning to study there for a long time. I'll be coming to Prague this October.
Hey Magan, thanks for your message. Yes, I can really help and I will do as much as I can to help people... By the way I enjoy my time here
Hey shreypete, it´s absolutely sure you can help me... And I am here to help you with my mother language  By the way why do you want to study in Prague?
Hey freekarol, You asked me why prague of all places??? 1) I've heard so much about this great, mysterious, addictive, breath-taking place and I want to be part of this adventurous city. 2) I've met some Czechs (as my uncle randomly married one  ) and they seemed really friendly (a bit reserved in the beginning though) and were very disciplined (which is almost as illegal as absinthe in the US if you know what I mean). 3) I really was impressed by the Charles University infrastructure, curriculum, and the social extra-curricilurs there and ofcourse the fact that I got through the entrance encourages me more. 4) I would love to learn the czech language (whenever my aunt speaks it, it sounds really attractive yet professional). 5) I've heard a lot about the cuisine, culture etc. (from this very forum) and it seems very interesting 6) After meeting the ppl, I sure was impressed by their social etiquette, and their values. So I guess, these are good enough reasons right? What about you? Why english if you don't mind me asking?
Hey Eleshar, what do you mean when you say "why"? I mean I am going to be studying in there (in less than a months time) so that's obviously my first priority. The rest of the things I've mentioned may not be essential but are nevertheless important facts one has to consider, which is what I've done---taken every point (figurative) into consideration.
I cannot imagine anyone being impressed by Charles University infrastructure. But perhaps the physicians, especially those from abroad, have different conditions than poor poor philosophers from this stinky little country of ours
Hey Eleshar...I'm not sure how it is for all the faculties...but I guess the First Medical Faculty is not that bad...but who knows? The pictures on their site might just be an illusion...(of which some is true and the other not related to the faculty as such)...
