Im trying to track down family who came from Bohemia.

The Prochaska famlily moved from Praha and/or Plsen to Cleveland Ohio in 1880s.
The Supp family came from Pisek and/or Plsen to Cleveland Ohio in 1900s.

I plan to come to CR in 2008 to search local church records & town hall in Pisek & Plsen but I was wondering if anyone here knows anything about these family names.

Sorry, but Procházka in the Czech Republic is something like Johnson in US. You need some additional information to identify the persons of your interest.

“Supp” is definitely not a Czech name. Maybe German, but I doubt of it.
Most likely it’s an English (or German) transcription of Czech name “Sup/Supová” (male/female form). This name is relatively frequent. According to telephone directory there are 5 Sups/Supovás in Písek.

You can try it, but a preferable way is to contact the state archives.

    For Praha:

    For Plzeň:

For Písek (supposing you mean this one, but there are other minor Píseks in the CR):
    http://www.ceskearchivy.cz/soka-pi
or its superordinate archive in Třeboň
    http://www.ceskearchivy.cz/

And you can try also the National Archives with some on-line records.
