I would like to draw attention to a volunteer project based in USA to record audiobooks in the public domain.

It is entirely volunteer driven, so there is no payment received or asked, and only books which are out of copyright may be recorded.

If anyone is interested in contributing their voice to recording some Czech literature (or any language) and making them available as audiobooks, the help would be greatly appreciated.
One project that I found exciting was the recording of the UN Declaration Of Human Rights in as many languages as possible! Czech is still outstanding.

I wish my knowledge of the Czech language were better and I could read some myself. But it is not, so I am recording in English.

The site is Here if anyone would like to know more.
