I'm going to the CR next year. I live in a small town and dont have any resources for learing czech. I want to learn as much as I can before I go. Please let me know of any good websites for begginers.

    Ahoj paigeri,
This is a good site to get you started, http://www.locallingo.com/, it is the sister site of myczechrepublic.com. Also try http://www.bohemica.com. I used and still use both of these sites to learn Czech. I only wish I had known more when I went to CZ but I think these are good sites to get you started. If you are like me you will find many other sites on the web to help you out. Also here in the myczechrepublic.com forums are a good source if you have questions about prounounciation and grammar.

    Ahoj Paige,
I could not find any sites with written Czech pronunciations. Well with a lot of it but if you Google "czech pronunciation" there are some sites that have some guides. Maybe someone else that is reading these posts know of a site that will help you.

    Good luck,

    Michael
