I am looking for some of my Czech relatives; what I know about them is that Frank and Anna (Kroupy) Tomasek had quite a few children-12: Edward, Mildred, Steve, Julia, Joseph, Caroline, John, August, James, Mary, Frank, Anna. Caroline is my grandmother, her parents (Frank & Anna) moved here before they had children. If anyone knows any information that would help, I would greatly appreciate it! dekuji
Tomasek is a common surname. If you know know what city or region they were from, what year they emigrated, what port they entered the U.S. through (e.g. Ellis Island), or something along those lines, you'll be able to narrow your search considerably.
I do know that they came from Tabor, but i'm not sure about the year, and they did come from Tabor to Ellis Island.
