ok, i am visiting prague in 3 weeks time for my first ever visit :)

i shall be staying at the corinthia towers hotel at vysehrad and will probably travel from the airport by metro after buying a 7 day pass.

so what happens about the suitcase, i understand you have to buy a ticket for a suitcase but how much and what do you ask for ???

also a suitcase and a shoulder bag is that classed as two items of luggage ??

    thanks for any help :)

unless you are bringing a suictase size of a solid London phone booth, I'd say do not bother yourself with an additional ticket for it. I have never seen any controller (which you are not likely to meet anyway) ever bothering anyone with the above mentioned ruler and demanding paying for any luggage. however generally they are (i mean the controllers) quite annoying.

a relative of mine went to prague with her husband 6 months ago and they got caught for not having a ticket for their suitcase, so it does happen :(

If you travel light (like I do) with a carry-on size suitcase, you won't be bothered by the controllers.
