Anyone got any experience with travels from Prague or Plzen to Munich - any help much appreciated! Have been looking at overnight busses from Plzen, but can't work out how to book online... Do they fill up quick or can yoy purchase tickets on the day? Or are there better ways to travel... Cheers for any input!
The chepest way is to goto Munich on a Fri/Sat/Sun. Buy a train ticket from the Station in Plzen to the German border. Once your there get a "Bayern Ticket" for your trip to Munich (About 30 Eur).... For this price you will be limited to what trains you can take, and it can take up to 5hrs to get here, but you'll get here cheap. For time tables take a look at - www.bahn.de
