The tradeoff for my very cheap airfare to Prague, arriving March 15 and leaving the 26th, is so many places are still closed for winter. I was looking forward to Cesky Krumlov but I see the castle is still closed, and I find the same restricted hours at sites all over the Czech Republic. Is Cesky Krumlov worthwhile even with the castle closed? What would be the best destinations beyond Prague at this time of year, or should I save the Czech countryside for another time and go to Vienna instead? I apologize if this has already been addressed. I did search and could not find an answer. Any advice is appreciated.
