Amen to that, Brook. I find the whole stereotyping ridiculous. And let's face it, in rural America, Canada or other "developed" countries, some people still don't have central heating and still cook on wood stoves. Many still cannot afford a TV in one payment. I lived in CR till 1969 and we had all the conveniences (yes, even fridge, electric stove, vaccuum cleaner, TV, hot water, and central hot water heating that ran on gas).
