Dobrý den! I am new to this forum & i am planing to visit prague july 20 to august 11 I have been searching on the internet for apartments close to the city centre and was wondering if any members can reccomend any reasonably priced apartments that they may have stayed at. I would also be interested to know if ther are any local events/festivals at this time of year taking place . Děkuji. for any info/advice

If you would like to get some suggestions, you can use the contact form to contact our partner directly. I hope you will get a chance to visit Český Krumlov while you are in the Czech Republic. It is a beautiful medieval town. I noticed that they are having their International Music Festival from July 16 - August 28.
As for music festivals in the area, Prazdniny v Telci is from July 30 through Aug. 15. Here's the site (in Czech): http://www.prazdninyvtelci.ji.cz/ Telc is outside of Jihlava about 120km SE of Prague, and well worth the trip (even without the festival).
