Hello i am first time traveller to prague this weekend. I plan to meet my friend who is at univerzita Karlova. I will then be travelling back to the Hotel Josef. Can anyone please advise the best Train/metro routes or should i use a Cab Many Thanks
Well, the Charles University has faculties aroud Prague and even in different parts of country - first, you have to specify what’s your friend’s school.
The nearest metro station to hotel Josef is "Náměstí republiky", the nearest metro to "Bratří Čapků" is "Flora" (+300m walk), or bus station "Vlašimská". For airport give the name of station "Terminál Sever 1" Use this link to find the best connection by public transport. With a cab the cost from Airport to Bratří Čapků would be about 700 CZK (28 USD) and about 30 min, by a public transport 20 CZK and 45 min. With heavy luggage, the cab is more advisable 8)
