hi, I'm going to visit prague 24.-30.03.08. (next week) I recognized that there are some boat tours offered in prague. But as speedboats are one of my hobbies ... does anybody know where to rent a motorboat or speedboat in/around prague? I do have the relevant driver licence for inland water naviagtion (german licence) valid for boats up to 15m and end-less horsepowers. I know that this fun might be not very cheap, I'm willing to pay a reasonable price. Thanks, Markus
Spead boats in Czech arent the best option.. sailing and slow boats are much more common. Speed at Prague(Vltava) is very limited, try watter dam Slapy or Orlík - there could be few rentals, although I didnt found any...
Yes - despite the silly scenes in the 2002 Jean-Claude Van Damme movie "XXX", you won't see any speed boats on the Vltava (they would either be slow and ridiculous going through the locks or crash when they went over the falls) :wink:
