Host do domu

    ... Bůh do domu.

    A saying something like "In welcoming a guest to your home you also welcome God."
    But there's an alternate twist on it I've heard a few times.. "Host do domu..."
    I forget the words but there's the same pattern and it means something like "hit him with a stick!"

    Anyone know what I'm talking about?

    Got any other alternate versions of common sayings?

    What came first to my mind is this one:

    Host a ryba třetí den smrdí.
    :D
