Hi everybody, I'm looking for this Christmas music "Lasske vanocni kolo". I have only an old bad quality audio tape, with only a melody not singing. I don't know if the song has a real name... Thanks s
Hallo Slorenz I didn't see any song with a similar name. But if you are able to record it to computer and send it to me I'll try identify the song.
I am trying to learn some Czech and also doing some Czech dancing This one came up last week Lasske vanocni kolo which is the topic you have here What is the translation and can you give more details about the song/dance Ian Green
Interesting, I've never heard about it. That's probably because I've always lived in Prague. As for the translation, it means "Christmas circle of Lašsko". Don't know what that could mean thought. Quick google search discovered that Lašsko (adjective is lašský) is a region in Moravia, close to Ostrava and Frydek-Mistek. Probably a small region, bc ive never heard of it.
Gementricxs: have you been away? We've not seen you for a while. Or have you just been busy? Nice to have you back.
Ahoj everyone!!! I was busy and away. I have started university (Czech Technical University in Prague www.cvut.cz), there was so much things to arrange. I don't have so much free time now. And I was pretty much outside Prague for the summer (Slovakia, Belgium, bike trip in Austria) And at the moment I'm arranging WAT (Work and Travel) to the US for the upcoming summer. If everything goes according to the plan I will spend the whole summer in the US, so I might see some of you.
